We have the pleasure of recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent Insurance Broker, who is looking for an experienced Household Insurance Account Handler to join their friendly team. Specialising in Home-owners and Landlords Insurance across the UK, they focus on non-standard and high-value risks, providing tailored solutions to their valued clients.

This is a full time position and can be working on a hybrid basis once training is completed. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. Competitive salary of £25,000 to £30,000 dependant on age and experience plus bonus.

As an Account Handler, you will manage your own renewal book of clients, taking full responsibility for:

  • Re-broking risks at renewal into the market
  • Conducting annual reviews to ensure clients have the right cover
  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and letters
  • Achieving renewal retention targets through excellent service and market knowledge

We are looking for someone with strong customer service experience, someone who is a competent IT user and has excellent communication skills.

Essential:

  • Minimum 1 year of Personal Lines Insurance Broking experience in Home/Property Insurance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word
  • Self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients

Desirable:

  • Experience using the Acturis broking platform (Training will be provided)
