A Quantity Surveyor job is available in mid-Cornwall for a permanent role with a principal commercial building contractor. This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor experienced in commercial or maintenance projects.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Provide estimates/costs to clients where necessary
- Send all orders to subcontractors
- Request quotations from subcontractors
- Agree subcontractors' variations
- Sign off subcontractors' variations and orders
- Order materials for Operatives and Supervisors
- Apply valuations and invoices to clients as agreed dates
- Raise client invoices
- Attend weekly internal contract meetings
- Measure bigger jobs to capture all elements of works
- Inform clients of variation required (Subcontractor identified variation)
- Record pre-order number on service connect
- Record details of subcontractor variation on service connect
Requirements:
- Relevant Surveying Degree
- Good Quantity Surveying Experience
