Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Privacy Professional to join our team on a short-term contract basis to support their Data Protection program. The role will focus on providing key privacy support while they search for a permanent hire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing team and gain exposure to various data protection initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and other privacy risk assessments, including Legitimate Interest assessments.
- Independently manage and fulfill data subject rights requests (intake, response, and processing).
- Review Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with third parties, ensuring compliance with privacy and data protection laws.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical privacy and data protection advice to the business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with privacy policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in using data management automation tools, such as OneTrust, to streamline data protection processes.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, particularly the GDPR.
