The role of the Senior National Account Manager is to build strong, partnership-based relationships with key strategic customers. This ensures that the organisation consistently achieves the best possible financial returns and maintains sufficient customer coverage willing to purchase targeted volumes at set prices. Success in this role guarantees that the organisation has a robust customer base in the market, providing ample product placement options. The Global Account Manager will drive in-market demand for products through effective customer competition, boosting sales and achieving price targets while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Regular Contact: Proactively engage with key accounts, offering tailored solutions and high-level product advice to boost sales returns. Ensure services are professional, timely, competitive, effective, and profitable.
- Customer Planning: Develop customer plans through regular interactions, including formal reviews, to identify needs, solutions, and mutual commitments.
- Collaboration with Planning Team: Ensure customer forecast requirements are accurately communicated and aligned with supply capabilities.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the customer advocate, liaising with internal teams to manage opportunities and risks.
