Driver Hire Perth are recruiting a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client, a local manufacturer. This is a dayshift position, where you will be driving a curtain sided vehicle making deliveries across Scotland. Some handball may be required as you'll be driving to building sites.
We support this customer all year round with holidays, sickness and busy periods so can offer a variety of shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
HGV2 Driver Requirements:
- Full Class 2 driving licence (Cat C Entitlement)
- CPC
- Digital Tachograph
- Maximum of 6 points for minor offences (no DD, DR, or IN convictions)
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling
HGV2 Driver Pay and Hours:
- Monday to Friday shift pattern, starting at 06:00AM each day
- Hourly rate of £14.57 per hour (including holiday pay)
- 8 hour minimum paid for each shift even if finished earlier
- Good potential for permanent employment
