This company commercialises a patent-protected platform that captures rare circulating tumour cells (CTCs) from blood in a minimally invasive way for downstream analysis. Their unique system is the first FDA-cleared medical device to harvest intact circulating cancer cells, offering profound improvements in clinical and health economic outcomes. You'll work with cutting-edge technology to advance cancer research and personalised medicine.

In this position, you will be leading the clinical development of novel assays for CTC detection using advanced DNA NGS technologies. Conduct experiments, develop and optimise protocols, and maintain detailed laboratory records. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance assay performance and reliability, driving significant scientific advancements which will no doubt enhance your own skills leading to further progression opportunities at an accelerated rate given the companies growth plans.

You must be a HCPC registered Scientist with expertise in NGS library prep in order to be right for this role.
