Management Accountant

KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this vibrant, successful organisation on the outskirts of Newcastle, to recruit a Management Accountant. Your duties will be as follows:

• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Interpretation and analysis of the accounts and explanation of variances
• Assisting in preparing financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement and cashflows
• Working closely with senior management to resolve any queries with financial statements
• Full reconciliation of all balance sheet and control accounts including prepayment and accrual calculations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Responsible for posting journals and performing complex analysis
• Providing supporting data and relevant analysis to senior management to aid decision making in an effective and timely manner
• Recording financial transactions
• Assisting in reconciling supplier ledgers and agreeing to supplier statements
• Ensuring payments to suppliers are paid as per the supplier payment terms
• Completion of quarterly VAT return
• Analysing and reporting of period end departmental reports

You will ideally be a qualified Accountant or working towards your qualification, although candidates who are qualified by experience will be considered.

As the company have an office in India, it would be advantageous that you are Bilingual (English & Hindi), enhancing communication with diverse clients in the UK and India.
