Ad Hoc Shifts Available across numerous Homeless Charities!

If you are interested in picking up additional shifts, then please submit your CV now! We are working with numerous homeless charities which are regularly supplying us with shifts, but we need more people to go on our Ad hoc list!

Pay: £13.50 + holiday pay = £15.13 or £17 umbrella per hour

We are currently seeking locum Project Workers to work on an ad hoc basis across Lambeth, within a variety of homeless hostels.

As a Project Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting assessments
  • Carrying out support plans
  • Delivering one-to-one sessions
  • Completing tasks on handover notes and ensuring these are up to date
  • Assisting with clients' care plans alongside key workers and other members of staff
  • Shadowing them to their appointments
  • May involve some light cleaning duties to ensure the hostel is meeting health and safety standards

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to demonstrate their ability to:

  • Work independently
  • Prioritise tasks
  • Manage their workload effectively
  • Be proactive

You should be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is able to build positive relationships with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies. Previous experience working with dual diagnosis is vital. Basic IT skills to complete handover notes are required.

Just to note, some clients may have pets, mostly dogs, but all have had a risk assessment.

In return, we offer a competitive hourly rate, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals. All shifts are 8 hours including an unpaid half an hour break (7.5).
