As a Finance Analyst you will provide robust support to the Assembly Test & Controls (AT&C). You will be working closely with the VP Finance and wider Finance team, consolidating actuals & forecasts, Manufacturing Engineering & Functions accountability, lead and drive Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) activity working closely with the MBU finance team and also business leadership teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain breadth across a large and visible business area (AT&C), developing both personal & task skills whilst building networks within the business, and having an involvement in a wide and exciting variety of tasks.

As a Finance Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing MBU inventory provision data for review, prepare and post MBU journals, run flash reviews with the VP, consolidate MBU flash packs for Flash reviews.
  • Supporting MBU business review packs also incorporating targets, monitor business Opportunities & Threats, maintain control tower data and fly forward/rolling forecast analysis.
  • Leading the MBU forecast process including owning the timetable, and overall MBU consolidation, support and analysis.
  • Supporting the VP and business teams for forecast preparation and packs. Own governance on planning models and support VBM loading where applicable. Support to target allocation and understanding with the business.
  • Providing ME support, completing ME review packs and helping the teams to understand the numbers, ad-hoc function support owner, understanding and challenging the numbers.
  • Delegating for VP (for consol & Functions), get involved in ad-hoc MBU analysis and support as required, MBU headcount reviews with HR.

What we require from the candidate:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • SAP & Hyperion desirable
  • Strong communicator, able to build effective working relationships and deal with ambiguity
  • Able to analyse and interpret complex financial information providing insight through simple and effective presentation of management information
  • Qualified candidate AAT, Charted or Management accounting qualified or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Manufacturing and standard costing experience (Desirable)
