We're seeking a highly organised and experienced PMO Analyst to support a Southwest England Council's Education Capital Programme - a critical initiative delivering new and refurbished schools, especially focused on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
About the Programme
The Education Capital Programme is a vital component of our commitment to delivering the right number of school places for children and young people in Bristol - especially those with SEND. This includes new builds, refurbishments, and extensions. The programme is currently undergoing a review and re-baselining process to ensure alignment with current service needs and financial sustainability.
What You'll Do
- Preparing board packs, reports, and tracking actions
- Supporting project managers with documentation, SharePoint, PM3 tool setup, and compliance
- Organising programme governance, meetings, and communications
- Assisting with financial reporting and administrative coordination
- Maintaining RAID logs, milestone tracking, and document control
- Producing consolidated reports and highlighting risks or key updates
- Helping the programme adopt and align with corporate PMO standards
About You
- Proven experience supporting complex programmes and multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong board and governance support experience
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Experience in high-audit environments
- Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- Strong technical skills and document control know-how
- Experience in education services or construction/capital delivery projects
