I'm delighted to be partnered with a thriving renewable energy business looking to optimise financial reporting on Power BI. We are looking for a qualified accountant who has expertise using Power BI as a reporting tool, designing and implementing interactive dashboards for real-time financial performance monitoring. This will be an interim assignment for 3-6 months and give you the opportunity to add real value.

Core Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Develop, standardize, and automate group entity financial reports for various stakeholders (committees, management, Board) and collate timetable of actions during a month to ensure reports are produced in a timely manner.
  • Data Consolidation & Integration: Consolidate financial data from multiple group entities into cohesive reports using existing financial systems and tools.
  • Report Customization: Tailor reports for different audiences, ensuring clarity and relevance for each committee, meeting, and Board.
  • Dashboard Development: Design and implement interactive dashboards for real-time financial performance monitoring.
  • Automated Reporting: Streamline reporting processes to ensure maximum automation, reducing manual intervention and minimizing errors.
  • Data Analysis: Perform financial data analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas of concern for management and the Board.

Experience Qualifications:

  • CIMA, ACCA, CA, ACA
  • Reporting: Experience producing cashflows, consolidated cashflows, budget versus actual reporting, variance analysis
  • System expertise: Experience with ERP systems and Power BI

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
