In this role you will:
- Act as the Business Controller for Bus, Coach, and Power Solutions, providing financial oversight and strategic insight.
- Daily management of the Bus, Coach and Power Solutions Administration Team.
- Review and assess financial control provisions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Perform complete balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity and transparency.
- Prepare accurate margin analyses to support profitability reviews and performance evaluation.
- Analyse and compare budgets against projections, identifying any variances.
- Support the preparation of month-end management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Produce daily reports on order intake, stock levels, and the order book to inform operational decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Bus, Coach, and Power Solutions, delivering key financial insights to drive informed business decisions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, ensuring all required documentation and information is readily available.
About you:
- CIMA/ACCA Qualified or Finalist – Ideally recently qualified or at the final stage of qualification.
- Attention to detail – possessing a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy.
- Commercially minded - awareness of business opportunities, profitability, and market dynamics, with the ability to make decisions that drive financial success.
- Excellent communicator – able to clearly communicate with customers and internal colleagues via email and over the phone.
- Leadership skills - Motivate and manage the team to deliver high-quality results.
