We’re looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer – Space Technology to join a growing team working on next-generation battery powered space systems. If you’re passionate about advanced power systems, space technology and developing technology for the betterment of humanity, then this could be your perfect role.
What you’ll be doing as the Senior Power Electronics Engineer:
- You’ll play a key role in designing and integrating cutting-edge power systems for advanced space applications.
- Your day-to-day could include:
- Designing and testing power conversion systems for harsh and inhospitable environments
- Developing and testing battery management systems
- Solving tricky power system problems and making things work in the real world
- Collaborating with industry leading engineers and advisors to make your designs a reality.
Your background and experience:
- A degree in electrical and electronics engineering (or something similar)
- Ideally 2+ years of hands-on experience with power systems
- An understanding of battery management and system architecture
- Someone who can write clear test plans, troubleshoot confidently, and manage their own workload
- Great communication skills – you’ll be working with people across teams and disciplines
- If you have experience with modelling tools like MATLAB or Python that would also be beneficial.
