Overview
We are a cross-functional team of field researchers, analysts, engineers and designers, dedicated to having the highest possible social impact to the world. We run initiatives across multiple countries in collaboration with different governments. Our approach is to combine technology with world-class analysis and participative programmes, to deliver projects and solutions that improve lives.
We are on the look out for a Technical Project Manager to support our tech delivery, help manage our operations and write technical documentation and proposals. The position is for a part time contract (3d a week) for 12 months, with a potential for a renewal. The team is partly based in London (UK), and partly international working UK hours. We are open to remote candidates within the UK, although ideally you’d be able to commute to our London Victoria office twice a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage agile delivery of our tech team, ensure project milestones are maintained
- Help streamline our operations and reporting
- Write technical documentation and technical proposals for internal and external customers
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- 4y+ experience working as a PM in software / data teams, using agile methodology
- Great communication, organisational, decision making and problem solving skills, with high attention to details
Nice to haves
- Experience with Scrum and with delivery of Data Science projects
- Experience working with governments and international parties
- Experience in tech sales / pre-sales roles
- People management experience
What We Offer
- A day rate of £220-£300 outside IR35, depending on experience. Ideal setup would involve contracting through your ltd company
