An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Handyman / Handyperson based in the Harrow area to join one of the UK's leading facilities management companies. You will be working covering the Welling and the surrounding region in Gloucester area.
Some experience with basic plumbing in a commercial setting will be beneficial for this role. This is a multi-site role offering building maintenance services across a range of disciplines aimed at keeping services and costs in-house. Experience working in commercial premises, particularly the retail sector, would be a distinct advantage.
The work consists of a mix of PPM and reactive building works internally and externally to include:
- Building
- Roof - repair roof leaks and quarterly gutter and gully clearance
- Brickwork - repairs to walls
- Floor - repair vinyl and ceramic tiles
- Car Park / yard works
- Roller shutters - annual PPM and reactive repairs
- Painting and decorating - carry out minor painting repairs
- Plumbing and drainage - unblock drains, urinals, toilets, and sinks. Repair leaking taps and washers.
For the right candidate a fantastic salary / package is on offer consisting of the following:
- Basic salary - £28,000
- 40 hours per week
- Paid travel time = give 30m each way
- Overtime
- Company Van + fuel card
- 33 Days Holiday
