What will I be doing as Assistant Front Office Manager?
The Assistant Front Office Manager plays a pivotal role in the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office department. This position is responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily activities, managing the team, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of performance.
- Ensure excellent guest service at all times by setting high standards for the team.
- Monitor and improve guest satisfaction through feedback and quality assurance.
Front office Operations:
- Monitor the Front Desk operations, including cashiering, night audit, and shift handovers.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to Front Office activities.
- Assist in controlling Front Office costs and expenses.
- Help in budget planning and financial forecasting for the department.
Inventory Management:
- Manage room inventory to maximize occupancy while maintaining revenue targets.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures by the Front Office team.
Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions for Front Office staff on guest service, systems, and procedures.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of Front Office staff.
- Supervise, motivate, and provide guidance to the Front Office team.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to consistently deliver exceptional service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential. French language proficiency is a plus, though not mandatory.
A flexible approach to working hours, in line with the operational needs of the business.
