We are looking for new supply teachers to join our expert education team! Are you a hardworking, enthusiastic qualified teacher based in or near Winchester looking for supply teaching work?
Location: Winchester, Hampshire.
Job Type: Full time or Part time.
Pay: £130 to £220 a day.
Start date: ASAP.
About the role: As a cover teacher, you would provide essential support by stepping in to cover classes when regular teachers are absent. This role requires flexibility, strong classroom management skills, the ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences, always maintain a safe environment, and being able to adapt to different environments. You should be an adaptable, social individual, since there are many different personalities and each class you’d cover is different!
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Adapting to different subjects and grade levels as needed.
- Collaborating with other staff members to support student needs.
- Providing feedback on student progress and any issues encountered.
- Being able to reliably commute to Winchester/surrounding areas.
Requirements for the role:
- Hold QTS/NQT status in the UK or a teaching qualification from your country of origin.
- Hold a DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one.
- Teaching experience in a Primary, or Secondary school.
- Be prepared to cover a multitude of subjects.
- The right to work within the UK.
- Be able to reliably commute to the school.
