CPS Group is supporting a large public sector organisation in hiring an IT Engineer to join an established team responsible for maintaining the organisation's infrastructure and driving its digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions while managing, monitoring, and maintaining both on-premise and cloud platforms.
- Troubleshoot incidents, determine root causes, apply fixes, document issues, and implement preventive measures.
- Lead server projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Communicate IT initiatives, priorities, and progress to key stakeholders, fostering collaboration between IT and other business units.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of NAS and SAN storage technologies.
- Expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Server Technology and Hyper-V clustering.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Database Architecture
- Business Intelligence
- Big Data
- Machine Learning
- Advanced Analytics
