We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Product – Inventory Solutions to lead the development and expansion of our AI-powered inventory management product line. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring our solutions meet the complex needs of restaurant and hospitality operators. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Product Management, with experience in inventory and supply chain solutions being highly desirable.
The role includes:
- Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for AI-driven inventory management solutions, aligning with company goals and market trends. Oversee the development of features such as predictive ordering, supplier engagement, streamlined purchasing, real-time recipe costing, and reliable inventory tracking. Identify and prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, business value, and competitive landscape.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a product team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- Customer & Market Insights: Engage with customers, prospects, and industry stakeholders to deeply understand their inventory management challenges and opportunities. Stay abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in AI-driven inventory management.
- Product Development Oversight: Ensure alignment of product vision and strategy with the work of the Product Team, who will handle user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions on time and within scope.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key product performance metrics, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making. Continuously measure the impact of product enhancements on customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the product evangelist internally and externally, effectively communicating the value and vision of our AI-powered inventory solutions. Present product updates and strategic plans to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading the development and launch of successful SaaS products.
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting, supplier management platforms, and inventory tracking solutions is a plus.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple time zones when necessary, as the products serve customers globally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in inventory management or supply chain solutions within the restaurant and/or hospitality industry.
