My client, a market leading, innovative Consultancy based in the heart of Bristol, is searching for an Associate to manage their Water Team based in London. Hybrid working available.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving Chartered status. You will also have vast experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk, hydrology, hydraulic modelling, flood alleviation, drainage or river engineering.

For this opportunity, applicants are also required to have the drive and determination to develop new business opportunities with the support of the team and have experience managing projects, promoting company services and mentoring team members.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to lead a team of Engineers based in central London. You will be expected to manage projects, mentor and train team members and develop new business opportunities. You will be expected to check, complete and amend technical work spanning flood risk, drainage, hydraulic modelling, flood alleviation and river restoration schemes across the UK.

You will be required to support the existing technical team and manage/coordinate projects and update Clients with progress. As an Associate you will oversee projects spanning the following:

  • Flood Alleviation Schemes.
  • River Restoration and Natural Habitat Management.
  • Pollution Incidents and Nutrient Neutrality.
  • Drainage Strategies and designs.
  • Hydrological and Hydraulic Modelling.
  • Bid Proposals and Tenders.
  • Aviation and Renewable Energy Projects.
