About the Role

This role is based at our manufacturing and technology centre in Hayes, Middlesex. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating multi-site street lighting and highway electrical activities. The work includes electrical testing, commissioning, condition reporting, and reactive repairs on a range of public infrastructure.

You will lead a small team of electricians and contractors, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency, while supporting their day-to-day operational needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of highway electricians and contractors
  • Monitor performance, productivity, and workforce competency
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects aligned with programme requirements
  • Oversee electrical work orders and ensure performance against KPIs
  • Promote strong health and safety practices in line with method statements
  • Provide technical support and guidance on-site
  • Ensure compliance with NICEIC & NERS accreditations
  • Conduct site inspections and adapt to project needs as required

About You

You’re an organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-moving operational environment. You’re comfortable managing teams and projects, and you have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a project management role
  • Background in street lighting or electrical highway works (preferred)
  • Good understanding of electrical systems and asset requirements
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office)
  • Relevant qualifications highly valued: 2391-52 Electrical Inspection & Testing, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, G39 + 214 Safe Isolation
  • Full UK driving licence
