Working as part of a highly respected and collaborative team, you’ll advise and coach schools across Barnet, mainly primary mainstream settings, to improve outcomes for autistic children and young people. You’ll bring your knowledge, empathy and leadership to:
- Guide staff in embedding inclusive, neurodiversity-positive practice
- Deliver training for educators and families
- Support transitions, placements, and personalised learning plans
- Promote wellbeing, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy in autistic pupils
- Collaborate with a multi-agency team across education, health, and social care

What you’ll need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Significant experience supporting autistic pupils in educational settings
- A strong understanding of strategies like SCERTS, TEACCH, Attention Autism

- A collaborative, reflective mindset and commitment to inclusive education
- A postgraduate qualification in autism or SEND would be an advantage, but is not essential if you bring the right passion and experience.
