The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the safe, on-time delivery of projects. Communicate to Snr Project Manager / Project Manager / and Supply Partners (as required) the deliverables, dependencies and risks as each project progresses.
General Activities:
- Understand the full scope of the project works to be delivered.
- Work within the current CDM process, taking on the role of principal contractor and supporting all roles as per CDM 2015 Regulations and Building Safety Act 2022.
- Identify, reduce and manage all QHSE, statutory and commercial risks associated with the project.
- Ensure QHSE practices and processes are fully embedded in each project.
- Ensure full compliance with project management policies and procedures.
- Supervise the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s), including sub-contractor management and site supervisory duties.
- Work closely with CBRE Project Managers and Supply Partners to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
- Day-to-day supervision of project delivery, including all TBTs, inductions, inspections, etc.
- Support the Project Manager and HoP with project documentation, including requesting supplier POs and managing QHSE documents.
- Ensure the Site Safety Management Binder (SSMB) and all project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored.
- Support the Project Manager by ensuring the Handover Checklist is completed and all close-out documentation is complete.
Personal Development:
- Identify areas for continuous personal development and compile and manage your PDP with your line manager.
- Ensure all H&S qualifications and permit authorisations are kept up to date.
Building Relationships:
- Build strong effective working relationships with internal and external customers and site teams.
- Develop trusted and lasting relationships with project stakeholders that foster client ties.
- Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
- Use sound judgment in all project communication and ensure that key stakeholders are apprised of project activities in a timely manner.
- Ensure project meets internal and client expectations with respect to quality, scope/specification, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy.
Commercial Awareness:
- Understand pricing model, cost and sales and valuation and billing procedures.
- Assist the Project Manager in managing scope creep through client change orders and other methods.
- Track and report hours and expenses on each project.
The Project Process:
- Ensure that all involved in the delivery of the project understand the scope of work to meet the customer’s specification.
- Implement and carry out all required inspections, checks and monitoring on all plant, equipment, materials and personnel.
- Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on each project.
- Ensure the supply partners on site are aware of all items required for the project files, H&S, tool box talks, RAMS, site audits, commissioning, O&Ms, permits to work, etc.
- Be in attendance on site for the works inclusive of any out of hours requirements.
- Ensure all variations to the works are captured and reported to the HoP/PM.
- Make sure all O&M manuals are complete and available prior to practical completion.

- Demonstrable evidence of having supervised works.
- Proven experience of supervising Construction Projects (M&E works) (Desirable).
Qualifications:
- Compliant with the training matrix for Project Site Supervisor.
- Recognised technical qualification in construction, Mechanical or Electrical or similar.
- Business standard of written and verbal literacy and numeracy.
- Electrically qualified.
- CSCS, CDM 2015 regulations, SMSTS, IOSH.
