Are you passionate about fundraising and helping abandoned and vulnerable pets? Do you have significant experience in direct marketing - managing campaigns from creative concept through to analysis, and working on new product development and initiatives?
If so, we’d love you to join our team as our Acquisition Campaign Manager where you will play a vital part in recruiting our cash and regular supporters. In this role our successful applicant will manage a range of direct marketing campaigns including DRTV, cold mail, inserts, telemarketing, and digital. In addition to this they will develop supporter engagement communications for our pet sponsorship.
We are looking for a proactive individual with the desire to grow and develop our programme, someone who has exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and is a multi-tasker. They will be a strong communicator, able to build collaborative relationships across the organisation and with external agencies. They will also have a proven track record of delivering successful direct marketing campaigns to recruit new supporters or customers across multiple channels and products.
They will:
- Support the Senior Development Manager - Acquisition in the on-going development of the supporter acquisition strategy.
- Project manage a range of direct marketing campaigns from creative, to data selection and analysis.
- Support with the development of the annual budget and manage campaign budgets with a total expenditure of £1.9M.
- Manage and coach Woodgreen’s Acquisition Executive.
- Work with a range of external agencies and suppliers such as media and creative agencies, as well as our internal teams including creative and digital.
This role is a great opportunity to progress your career in an experienced, ambitious and growing fundraising team, with access to support and training to help you excel in your role. We welcome applicants with relevant experience from either a charity or a commercial background (with a desire to move into fundraising).
This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis with the expectation that our successful candidate will work from our Godmanchester site approximately 1 - 2 days a month dependant on business need. The starting salary for this position is £35,598 - £43,507 per annum depending on experience.
In addition, we can also offer:
- 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years.
