About the Role: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of a technical team responsible for developing and maintaining critical software solutions. This role combines technical expertise with innovation to ensure the continuous delivery and operational reliability of essential services. Key Responsibilities: Develop new data capabilities within supported software, expanding its functionality. Automate processes to reduce maintenance overheads and enable continuous delivery. Build and maintain infrastructure using Python, bash scripting, and Linux systems. Manage tools and testing environments to maintain high development standards. Provide technical support during software releases, ensuring uninterrupted operations. Keep documentation current and share knowledge with team members. What We’re Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Python and bash scripting with a strong focus on creating unit and integration tests. Expertise in Linux (Enterprise level), including troubleshooting and software upgrades. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Active SC clearance (or SC clearance that has lapsed in the past 12 months). Strong communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively within an Agile DevOps environment. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA. Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects in the public sector or enterprise environment.
