Service Technician (Wind Turbines + Training) Depot: Peterborough £34,000 +BONUS + Overtime & On call (OTE £40k-£45k) + Training + 33 Days Holiday + Benefits Are you looking to become a fully qualified Wind Turbine Service and Maintenance Engineer, to build upon your existing engineering skills set, to have great career paths supported by a training academy and to work for a top 3 global wind turbine company? Are you an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer? Can you read Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic diagrams? Are you from an Ex-Forces, Agricultural, HGV, Plant, or similar service or maintenance background? On offer is the opportunity to join a Global OEM as a Service Technician where you will service and maintain industrial wind turbines, you will receive OEM specific training and have a focus on your personal and technical development. This is a physically demanding job working at heights, being able to pass a working at heigh medical (Chester step test) is a H&S condition of employment. This top 3 wind turbine employ 13,000+ globally & due to continued growth are growing their Peterborough team which covers their South East region. You must live within 1hr of Peterborough to be considered for this role. You will work as part of a maintenance team and will cover sites across the region, the right candidate will ideally be based within 1 hour from the Peterborough Service Point. This role would suit an Electrical or Mechanically skilled individual from either an Ex-Forces/REME, Agricultural, HGV, Plant, Maintenance, or similar background, looking for a field service role, OEM training, technical development, with fantastic routes of career progression with an top 3 global wind turbine company.
