Role: Our client is currently looking for a Pre Press Operator/Artworker to join their well-established team in the Surbiton area (South West London).
Responsibilities:
- Preparation/creation of artwork for large format and digital print
- Check all artworks supplied and prepare them for printing
- Ensure artwork proofs are accurately created and proofed on time
- Liaise with Prepress manager, customer services team and customers to ensure timelines are met
- Work closely with the pre-press manager to plan jobs going into production
Requirements:
- Experience producing print ready artwork
- Digital print knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Experience working on files for a varied range of print and finishing production
- A good knowledge of Adobe CS especially InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro
- Knowledge of Esko Automation Engine / Caldera RIP Software
- Knowledge of workflow systems - advantageous
