Pure are recruiting a part time Payroll Specialist on a 15 month contract to cover a maternity leave, this is 30 hours per week and can be worked over 4 or 5 days. The organisation are a fast growing specialist within the pharmaceutical sector, this role will offer hybrid working which is 2 days in their office which is based on the outskirts of Cambridge.
This is a stand alone payroll position but will form part of a friendly and established finance and HR team, the main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating payroll for the UK and European payroll providers
- Reconciling and validating payroll data
- Dealing with all statutory payments
- Dealing with HMRC, PAYE and NI enquiries
- Producing of management information reports
- Inputting of starter and leaver information onto the HR system
- Pension administration including auto enrolment uploads
You must have previous experience of running a busy UK payroll, have a high level of accuracy and be comfortable working within different systems at one time. You must have the ability to work under your own initiative and be able to contribute positive ideas for change if needed.
