A leading production business based in Burnley is looking to recruit a Dispatch Administrator on a permanent basis due to company growth. This company prides itself on its comprehensive range of products combined with unparalleled support and excellent service. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

As Dispatch Administrator, your duties will include:

  • Monitor incoming orders from multiple sales channels.
  • Verify order details, including shipping address, payment confirmation, and stock availability.
  • Allocate orders to appropriate warehouses, couriers, or third-party logistics partners.
  • Ensure same-day or next-day dispatch based on the company's shipping policies.
  • Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure accurate and efficient picking, packing, and dispatching of orders.
  • Book and schedule collections with courier partners.
  • Generate and print shipping labels, invoices, and packing slips from seller platforms and order management systems.
  • Monitor stock levels to avoid overselling and order cancellations.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely reordering of popular products.
  • Track and analyse dispatch and delivery performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance shipping efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Experience in operations, dispatch coordination, logistics, or production.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, inventory management tools, and order tracking systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

In return, you will be paid a competitive annual salary of £23,800 - £26,000 depending on experience and will be joining a successful growing business during an exciting period. Holiday entitlement is 22 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays. Additional benefits include casual dress, company events, employee discount, and on-site parking.
