An established main contractor is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, supporting the delivery of an upcoming industrial new build project in Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained on-site
- Support the project in achieving key milestones on time and to spec
- Maintain site documentation and reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within industrial or commercial new builds
- Experience working with steel frame structures is highly preferable
- Strong knowledge of site processes and H&S compliance
- SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
