LOCATION: Ballyoan House, Derry-Londonderry
POST: Reserve List for Permanent/Temporary, Part-time/Full-Time for Mental Health and Learning Disability Schemes within the Derry-Londonderry Area. Ballyoan House is a supported living accommodation giving care and support for 16 adults with mental health issues. It is situated centrally within Limavady. Ballyoan House provides 24-hour staff support services, 365 days a year, supporting tenants to develop skills and get involved in day-to-day decision making.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- QCF/NVQ 2 Health and Social Care or equivalent and 6 months experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities/mental health issues.
- Must be currently registered with NISCC or if new to the sector must achieve registration within 6 months.
- Previous experience in administrative duties.
- Or 2 years' experience in a formal care/support role and previous experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/Mental Health issues.
- Must be willing to work towards the completion of relevant qualification.
This is a regulated post and will be subject to a satisfactory Access NI check.
