The Langham, London; Europe's first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for Demi Chef de Partie to join our talented Wigmore Kitchen team. We're an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome and value applications from all communities.
This role works four shifts out of seven. Shift times are 9am - 9pm.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Work well in a small brigade and be passionate about learning.
- Ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- Ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the Hotel.
- Follow closely the recipe specifications to ensure consistency of the food.
- Ensure all mise-en-place is set up accordingly.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous similar experience in a 5* hotel or reputable gastropub.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications.
