Guest Relations Executive
The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensingtonis looking for a Guest Relations Executive who can ensure the highest possible standards of service excellence & hospitality are extended to all guests at all times, maximizing revenue opportunities at all available opportunities whilst maintaining legal requirements & company standards. To ensure all VIP guests are looked after prior, throughout and after their stay.
Duties & Responsibilities:
To accurately register guests into the hotel, as well as check guests out of the hotel.
To efficiently respond to any guest enquiries and by communicating effectively to colleagues and superiors. To provide a friendly and personable service to hotel guests at all times.
To be fully cognisant with the hotel computer system and apply the knowledge in the most appropriate manner according to the guest requirements.
To have full knowledge of Hotel room rates and policies as applied to guest, and to actively earn revenue for the hotel.
To be familiar with Reservation procedures, and be aware of the importance of applying standards accurately and consistently (e.g. Market Codes).
To be familiar with the Hotel door key system, to issue accurately to guests, ensuring keys are cancelled where necessary; and to liase with Security if guests have problems when accessing rooms.
To be fully aware of the Hotels procedures and policies for V.I.P. guests, late arrivals, and cancelled reservations.
To be fully aware of the Partner Card procedures. To be fully aware of the Frequent Flyer procedures.
To understand fully the billing / accounting cycle for guest bills and ensure that all accounts processed meet the required standard.
Once issued with a cash float to be entirely responsible for the amount issued, to be maintained in denominations most appropriate for use in Reception and for the float always to be available for inspection.
Any discrepancies must be reported immediately in accordance with company standard. To assist team as a whole by being punctual to work according to schedules.
To have full knowledge of any special offers / promotions affecting the hotel. To report faulty equipment immediately.
To be actively involved with interdepartmental liaison in order to build on rapport and communication.
To help maintain and contribute to team morale and spirit. To attend any departmental and hotel meetings as required.
To actively participate in handover. To undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested by the management of the Hotel.
