We are working on an exclusive basis with our client to secure a promising trainee protection advisor for their busy office in Glasgow. This award-winning whole of the market mortgage and protection company offers its staff unparalleled support to excel in their role, with large administrative and compliance back up, extensive training and quality leads, so you can concentrate on providing the best whole of the market mortgage and protection advice to your customers.

You will spend an initial 12-24 months completing outbound calls to existing customers who have lapsed their premiums on their protection plans (i.e. life, critical illness and building/contents insurance) as well as liaising with providers. This is an excellent base to build your knowledge and experience. You will be targeted on the level of policies saved and rewarded on hitting this target so you have a clear indication on projected earnings.

The successful candidate will be funded and supported through attainment of the relevant protection qualification (i.e. RO5) within the first 18 months, upon which time your salary will increase to £30,000. Required experience, skills and qualifications:

  • Over one year's telephony experience, ideally within the financial services sector;
  • Able to cope with high volume and targets;
  • Proficient in Excel;
  • Effectively work as part of a team and use your own initiative;
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and sales skills.
