We are delighted to be working with our market leading Energy sector client, and offering you the chance to join them on either a staff, or long term contract basis.

In this role you will be responsible for the development of data pipelines for modelling, data provisioning, performance tuning, and optimisation. By guaranteeing the availability, accuracy, and accessibility of important corporate datasets, you will assist business end users as well as IT engineers. This will entail defining, agreeing upon, and implementing procedures for data management, access control, and security in collaboration with the business and system owners of the company's major data applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain architecture and systems documentation;
  • Work with other departments to make sure data needs are met;
  • Work with other IT teams to deliver solutions;
  • Provide technical support and monitoring within the client’s data platform;
  • Build and maintain data pipelines from internal databases and SaaS applications;
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and best practices;
  • Maintain and contribute to the continuous development of the client’s data platform.

In order to be successful in this position, you should be able to analyse data requirements, go over the source datastore's data structure, and put in place the extraction pipelines and storage needed for the extracted dataset. You will ideally possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to demonstrated expertise in data extraction, analysis, processing, and management.
