Elderpark Housing Association, based in the heart of Glasgow’s Govan community, invites you to become part of our dynamic and dedicated team. This newly created Asset Officer (Tenant Safety and Compliance) role is a key role within the organisation and will be an integral part of the redesigned Asset Management Team reporting to the Asset Manager and Director of Asset Management. You will deliver on all health and safety compliance across our internal and external service delivery areas to ensure we meet our regulatory, statutory and policy requirements for all assets including residential, office and commercial properties.
Principal responsibilities and duties will include:
- Ensuring compliance
- Management of health and safety contracts
- Developing and reviewing procedures and systems
- Procurement and engagement with contractors
- Providing regular reports and key performance information in relation to health and safety
You will have strong working knowledge and understanding of all relevant Health and Safety legislation including tenant safety compliance, understanding and previous experience in some of the key compliance areas including asbestos management, water hygiene management, gas safety, electrical safety, fire safety, lift management and mould, damp and condensation management.
