Eden Scott are pleased to be assisting their client with the appointment of an HSEQ Advisor to join them for a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. Our client is playing a pivotal role in the Marshalling of the Foundation package for a 1GW Offshore Wind Farm in Scotland.
The HSEQ Advisor plays a critical role in supporting the growth and enhancement of the organisations service offering. This position will support the wider team in ensuring successful project delivery, with a particular focus on a 1GW Offshore Wind Farm Foundation Marshalling Project. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the role provides an excellent opportunity for exposure to various business functions including operations, tendering and engineering while contributing to high impact deliverables in relation to HSEQ.
Key Responsibilities- Assist day to day site operations and support the wider HSEQ team to meet regulatory requirements, policies, standards and procedures.
- Support and assist in the delivery of our project to achieve compliance with project goals, company standards and statutory responsibilities.
- Support the preparation of formal HSEQ reports, i.e. Accident Investigation, High Potential/Near Hits, Internal audit reports and daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly and yearly HSE reports.
- Work closely with internal teams to meet tendering and delivery goals.
- Assist in building effective working relationships with external stakeholders including clients and contractors.
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualification in Health & Safety.
- Ideally with an Engineering degree or with good relevant experience in the offshore wind industry and/or wider port sector.
- Previous experience in operational HSEQ Advisor role desirable.
- Basic understanding of producing RAMS and HSEQ processes.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
This role may involve occasional travel to other project sites or stakeholder locations, so a driving licence is essential. The organisations team is based in Dundee so frequent travel between the Ports of Leith and Dundee will be required. The HSEQ Advisor will be required to work a 2 week on, 2 week off, 12 hour shift roster, during project execution phase of the project.
Salary And Benefits- Salary of up to 60,000.
- Rotation of 2 weeks on / off.
