QED Legal are working with one of the country's premiere legal firms that’s looking for a Senior Environmental Lawyer to join their team in Edinburgh. This can be a hybrid role with three days a week in the office, and there’s flexibility to work either full-time or four days a week if that suits you better.
You’ll be joining a friendly, experienced team that advises on a wide range of environmental and sustainability matters. The work is varied and interesting, covering everything from regulatory compliance and environmental permitting to pollution, waste management, climate change and sustainability issues.
There’s also the chance to get involved in contentious matters like regulatory investigations and enforcement, where you’ll help clients navigate tricky situations quickly and effectively. The team works closely with colleagues across the business, including real estate, corporate, banking and projects, so you’ll be involved in major transactions and multidisciplinary matters where environmental risk needs to be properly managed.

They’re looking for someone with strong experience in environmental law – whether that’s advisory, transactional, contentious or a mix of everything.
