Do you have a passion for driving and sales? As a trainee Van Sales Driver, you will be learning about professional driving while working in a friendly and energetic team. You don't need to hold a licence to drive a lorry as we will train you, but you will need a driving licence.

We are looking for someone who will be good at driving, talking to customers, and has an interest in selling bakery products. It will take around 3 to 6 months to complete your training, and after that time you will work as a Relief Van Sales Driver delivering bakery products to our customers across Northern Ireland. You will be responsible for in-store merchandising, ordering, and minimising waste.

You normally start at 3am and work job to finish, so home times will vary depending on your route - average hours are typically 39 per week. Hours of work will be based on a rotating shift pattern across a 7-day week, and flexibility will be required. This is a physically demanding role and requires the individual to have the physical ability to deliver tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Learning the roles from experienced Salesmen.
  • Understanding Health & Safety including vehicle safety, loading and driving.
  • Completing driver training and gaining valuable qualifications.

The Right Person:

  • A positive can-do attitude and a desire to do well.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Age over 21.
  • Retail sales experience and/or multi-drop delivery experience is desirable.
