We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Event Technician, specialising in vision engineering, to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality visual production for live, virtual, and hybrid events.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on role where you'll rig and operate visual equipment across a range of corporate and live event settings. You’ll also contribute to equipment maintenance and collaborate with teams to ensure events run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vision systems and manage live event video production
- Use Barco Event Master, presentation switchers, LED walls, and Panasonic projectors
- Support video playback, streaming, and hybrid event production
- Lead freelance teams and communicate effectively with clients and suppliers
- Prep and maintain equipment in the warehouse and on-site
- Deliver and collect kit using company vehicles
Skills & Experience Required:
- 2+ years in AV or vision engineering, ideally in corporate events
- Experience with Barco Event Master, LED systems, projectors, and streaming solutions
- Proficient with presentation and video playback software
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lead and work independently under pressure
- High attention to detail and presentation
- Full UK driving license and own transport
