What You'll Be Doing:
As the Site Services Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and developing the site's infrastructure and facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Electrical installation and testing in line with BS7671
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
- Overseeing contractors, managing Permit to Work systems, and conducting site inductions
- Routine preventative maintenance across site services – including refrigeration systems, air compressors, boilers, and legionella testing
- Building maintenance and plant room equipment repairs
- Ensuring compliance with H&S, Food Hygiene, and Environmental regulations
- Supporting site engineering with callout cover and general maintenance tasks
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification or above
- Experience in a similar facilities or site services role, ideally within a fast-paced manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Strong fault-finding ability, with both electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Excellent working knowledge of PUWER, COSHH, and general site compliance
- Practical experience with boilers, water systems, and general building maintenance
