The Role Are you an expert in .NET, cloud architecture, and high-performance systems? Do you excel at designing scalable, resilient microservices and optimising complex software ecosystems? If so, this is a unique opportunity to lead architecture and development efforts in a high-impact, innovation-driven environment. As a Lead Software Architect, you will: Design & implement high-performance, scalable .NET applications for IoT services. Architect and optimise microservices-driven cloud solutions using Azure/AWS. Enhance system reliability & security, ensuring fault tolerance and high availability. Lead API strategy, defining best practices for RESTful services and integrations. Drive DevOps & CI/CD excellence, refining automation, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and deployment strategies. Mentor and guide development teams, promoting best practices in software architecture and engineering. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives. What You Bring 10+ years\’ experience in software development with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET. Proven expertise in cloud architecture (Azure/AWS), designing and managing scalable, distributed applications. Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first development. Experience with SQL Server & NoSQL databases, optimising query performance and data storage strategies. Strong DevOps mindset, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation. Security-focused approach, ensuring best practices in authentication, authorisation, and data protection. A problem-solving mindset, capable of leading architectural discussions and driving innovation. Bonus Points For: IoT expertise, understanding network protocols, telemetry data, and device communication. Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Kafka) for event-driven architecture. Hands-on experience with serverless computing and cloud-native technologies. What\’s on Offer?
