Location: This role is office based in Larne
Purpose: Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd aims to enhance people's lives through high-performance products and satisfying customer demands. The focus of this role is to liaise and coordinate between internal departments and organize third-party hauliers to meet the company's on-time-in-full (OTIF) targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assign customer sales to transport, achieving OTIF in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Maximize vehicle utilization and facilitate stock movement between all four sites.
- Maintain relationships with hauliers and customers, resolving issues to ensure the best outcomes.
- Create reports and delivery schedules for customers and departments.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to meet special delivery requests and ensure accurate order information is obtained before scheduling deliveries.
- Communicate effectively across various platforms to manage workload and multitask.
- Maintain files and records, providing quick and accurate information when needed.
- Deliver tasks to a high standard, demonstrating initiative and confidence, and working independently.
- Adhere to company values, policies, and procedures, and embrace continuous improvement.
- Foster good relations and communication within the company and with customers, ensuring excellent customer care.
- Identify opportunities for improving performance and service delivery.
- Be willing to cross-train and cover other roles during peak periods and holidays.
Minimum Education:
GCSE or equivalent at grade C or above in English and Maths.
Experience:
Relevant transport experience within the supply chain. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
