Are you a detail-focused technician with a passion for AV and visual equipment? We’re looking for a Vision Prep Technician to support the preparation and maintenance of vision equipment in a busy warehouse environment for live and hybrid event production.

About the Role:

You’ll play a key part in the vision department, ensuring equipment is fully prepared, maintained, and presented to high standards. The role also involves working across different warehouse divisions when needed, supporting equipment for both productions and dry hires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, test, and maintain video and vision equipment (e.g., projectors, LED screens, switchers)
  • Build and wire racks to meet specific job specs
  • Perform basic service, maintenance, and repairs
  • PAT testing (training can be provided)
  • Check in and clean returned equipment
  • Keep workspaces tidy and organised
  • Assist with loading/unloading trucks and vans
  • Support occasional deliveries or on-site work (UK driving license a plus)

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in the events industry
  • Familiarity with Barco, Analog Way, Panasonic, Absen LED, and Novastar
  • High standards of equipment presentation and electrical safety
  • Self-motivated with a flexible, can-do approach
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Solid IT skills
  • Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
