What you will do:
- As a Software Engineer - Data & Analytics Applications, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering robust applications that power Fitch’s global operations.
- You will work across Java, Python, and React, contributing to both frontend and backend systems with a strong focus on data migration, system architecture, and scalability.
Other responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, React, and Python.
- Lead and contribute to data migration and integration projects.
- Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and scalable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions.
- Drive multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and practices.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and React.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture.
