Our client is a well-established organisation within the construction sector, recognised for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and integrity. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to join the team.

Reporting to the Director, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the effective day-to-day management of the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and strategic financial planning to support business objectives.

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with departmental heads
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital requirements
  • Support year-end processes, including the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
  • Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability

You will be Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
