Position Summary: The AV Engineer will be responsible for installing AV systems in educational and corporate premises throughout the Midlands and Mid Wales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 1st and 2nd fix installations of sound systems, lighting, VC systems, screens, audio systems, digital signage, control systems, and cabling infrastructure.
- Interpret schematics drawings accurately.
- Assemble racks both on and off-site.
- Commission control systems and DSPs at a basic level.
- Deliver equipment to job sites.
- Occasionally attend service and maintenance visits.
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- 1+ years' experience as an AV Engineer.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Knowledge of control systems and DSPs such as Extron, AMX, Biamp, etc.
Package:
- Salary: £28K - £35K DOE.
- Company van and fuel card.
- Overtime rates of up to 2X.
- Bonuses paid twice a year.
