Driver Hire are the nation's number 1 supplier of staff to the transport industry. We are currently supporting the recruitment needs of a well-established metal finishing business, who are looking for a class 1 driver to join their growing logistics team, based in Widnes.

Our client has recently undergone an extensive transition, which involved a complete takeover of the business, as well as a comprehensive overhaul of their day to day practices.

Your role would involve distributing large metal structures to businesses and construction sites across the North West and beyond, using a flatbed class 1 vehicle. Due to the size of the products being delivered, this role does not require any handball or lifting duties, but you will be expected to safely use numerous ratchet straps, to secure each delivery load.

If you are a C+E qualified driver, holding valid tacho & CPC cards, and you have gained at least 3 months experience of delivering steel or similar materials, using a class 1 vehicle, this position is waiting for you!
