Veterinary Task Force focuses on enhancing the well-being of working animals by offering tailored veterinary solutions to the operational working dog community as well as expeditionary and humanitarian support. Our services include Operational Working Dog First Aid Training, canine annual ‘Fit for Duty’ assessments, and provision of first aid kits. Additionally, we offer procurement and export/import support, remote support through telemedicine, and other consultancy services to meet the needs of our clients.

This is a part-time remote role for an Instructor at Veterinary Task Force. The Instructor will be responsible for delivering training sessions on Operational Working Dog First Aid, assisting with or conducting annual 'Fit for Duty' assessments, and providing remote support through telemedicine. The Instructor will also assist with the preparation of training materials and support other consultancy services as required.

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary training (vet or vet nurse) knowledge of working dog health and first aid, and experience in operational or remote environments is beneficial
  • Proficiency in delivering structured training sessions and creating engaging training materials
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience in telemedicine and remote support is a plus
