Are you skilled at sparking meaningful conversations and uncovering real customer needs? Do you thrive in early-stage environments where feedback shapes the product? At Pzaz.io, we’re looking for a sharp, curious, and proactive Lead Generation & Customer Discovery Specialist to help us validate demand and identify exactly what our users want next.

Your Mission

Your primary responsibility will be to reach out to film and video production professionals, understand their current workflows and pain points, introduce Pzaz.io as a possible solution, and gather positive commitments on what they\’d be willing to pay for—if we build it.

You’ll be the bridge between our product team and the market, helping us de-risk what we build next.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Targeted Outreach: Engage 50–100 production companies and creative professionals per week via email, LinkedIn, and calls.
  • Lead Qualification & Interviews: Conduct discovery calls to deeply understand how these companies manage production, their pain points, and what’s missing from their current stack.
  • Document Insights: Organise responses and map customer needs in our internal CRM (Pipedrive) and feedback system.
  • Test and Iterate Messaging: Use open/reply/conversion rates to refine your outreach strategy and voice.
  • Secure Pre-Commitments: Get early users to say: “If you build X, we’ll buy it.” Document it, validate it, and help us prioritise features accordingly.
  • Collaborate With Product Team: Share insights directly with the product and marketing teams to shape features, pricing, and go-to-market messaging.

You’re a Great Fit If You:

  • Are fluent in English (bonus for Italian or other European languages).
  • Have 2+ years of experience in sales development, customer discovery, or user research—ideally in a SaaS or startup setting.
  • Know how to ask the right questions and listen for the “why.”
  • Have experience using tools like Apollo, Lemlist, Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Nav, or similar.
  • Enjoy the challenge of early-stage ambiguity and thrive on learning directly from the market.
  • Are not afraid of rejection and view each conversation as a learning opportunity.

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working with or selling into creative industries, especially film, video, or media production.
  • A passion for filmmaking, storytelling, or the creative process.
  • Clear, concise writing—especially when distilling feedback and user quotes.
